What did you enjoy about the A&P course?
Hello
It is really useful for us to get feedback from students about what they thought about the courses. Please share your views.
Thanks

I enjoy being connected and receiving your friendly e-mails
This opportunity to link is icing on the cake!
I teach and work as an NLP Practitioner
If anyone is familiar with Robert Dilt's Neurological Levels
I was doing some goal setting work with my 'Zest 4 Life' class last night
In checking the alignment with Dilt's Neurological Levels and their goals
I was saddened that a course member's goal stumbled out of alignment at every step. I coached the specificity of the goal, 'To say No when appropriate' This then misaligned with all Dilt's Neurological Levels - Environment, Behaviour,
Capabilities, Belief, Identity and Spirituality. The course member required coaching at each level.... Unsurprisingly she is a very ill woman

Re: What did you enjoy about the A&P course?
I had for quite some time been interested in how the body works,
I found people came to me for advice before going to their GP?, it used to embarrass me as I used to think "I am not qualified"
There are many cases of remedies and "Cures" going back to our parents and their parents etc..
And I began to collect them, simple things like, for people with bad Arthritis, my Grandmothers remedy was....
Get a cabbage leaf soak it in warm water then wrap it around the painful joint.
It works!!!
But I found the Sceptics would say "Rubbish, how could that work", and I found I could not answer, and the answer I gave sounded silly,
that is until now.
I found Alternative Training and the Anatomy and Physiology course, and am really enjoying those Ahhhh so thats why that happens, or thats how that works.
I have made great friends, including the wonderful Prof Jan De Vries, who actually saved my life recently, how?
Not by prodding, Xrays, MRI's, needles, blood tests etc etc...
But by simply looking into my eyes, in just 10 minutes he was able to do what 2 years of hospital visits could not, he informed me I was being poisoned,
and he was correct, The poison was in the form of Hydrogen Sulphide Gas, from our new home.
As I progress through my studies, I can see how such poisoning effects you.
I have experienced first hand just what the coursework describes, right down to the cellular level, I will use this knowledge to help others.
It is my hope, that this course may be the springboard to me becoming a Naturopathic Doctor, To use the knowledge that went before, and to expand on it.
I find the textbooks a good source of information, and the colouring book as well as being educational is fun.
(I make sure to colour inside the lines ha ha)
Perhaps, if anyone is interested, we students through this online community, could maybe construct a list of useful remedies, our parents/grandparents used,
before they are forgotten by science, and then use the A & P course to investigate how they might work?
Learning is a lifelong experience,
and to experience is to live.
Regards to you all,
Finbarr.
